I was thinking about how at times in life I become comfortable. It's safe, familiar and no surprises. But what if one day I decided to do something I've never done that could make me better. I'm not talking BIG and BOLD right now like skydiving. This is a smaller movement that could make a bigger impact in life on a daily basis. It's stepping on the edge of comfortable (the edge of a sunny pool) and uncomfortable (the dark deep water) at the same time hence then making that small shift so the uncomfortable becomes "the comfortable".
Think about what you may have in your life that is comfortable, but could be better if you stepped into the unfamiliar zone of what could be.
Is that yoga for you? Staying in poses that are comfortable and never pushing yourself into the next challenging pose that could bring a deeper meaning to your practice - mind and body. Stepping over the edge is what this is about and carrying that into you daily life.
Think about it!
