Bold Bravery

I love that song "Brave". It can apply to so many situations in life where what is expected is to go along with a group, a boss, a partner, and in reality you conflict.

What is your pattern in life?
- to conform and sit quietly
- to voice an opposing opinion and still conform
- to voice an opposing opinion and stand tall for your belief

It all depends on the situation, right?  All three could be acts of bravery. However, think about this - what could change right now if you sat quietly?  Would a relationship look different if you voiced an opinion and stood tall? How would that feel?

Taking a bold brave risk is what it all comes down to in the end. The same holds true on your yoga mat.

Tonight as a yoga challenge try a bold brave move like Side Crow. See how if feels as you set yourself up for the pose (prepare mentally and physically), carefully lean into it (choose your words carefully and directed at your audience) then find strength in your core muscles and  breath to keep the pose (be strong, bold and brave).  Take your yoga skills off the mat and use it the next time you need to find bold bravery!
