I've been blessed and cursed all on the same day. No, it's not my witty humor, fashionista skill or even related to yoga: we got a puppy!
She is an adorable little chocolate Yorkie Poo named Mocha. Everyone in the house loves her and she is adapting very well to the house and all the things she can not chew around her (hide my Kate Spade purse - quickly). It's seriously new adventure every time she wakes up. Like the dicovery she had 30 minutes ago with the squeak toy is suddenly a new thing. It's so adorbs! An adventure that I love BUT FOR just one thing....puppy training.
Yes, the dreaded puppy training!!!!!! I was doing so well trying to catch her just right before the "act", if you know what I mean, and run her outside in barefeet, no leash, just trying to get her OUT the DOOR! Today, let's just say, not so successful of an attempt on my part. I will spare you the details on how "stuff" got all over the bottom leg of my jeans. As well as I how in the world I managed to bring "stuff" back into the house without knowing. It's just so Craptastic!
But somehow as I cleaned up and Mocha followed me around, tail-wagging and eager to play, I had to smile. For 10 years ago I would have never imagined being where I am right now. How far I have come to a life living in limbo, to a life now DOING the limbo! It's never a dull moment in our house and now we have a new addition to being new laughter, smiles and joy into your day. Those thoughts made my craptastic day worth it all!
You are wondering how I there is a connection to my story and yoga. You are trying to figure it out right now. Well, have you ever had an obstacle on or off that mat that left you feeling in limbo? You never thought that what you are in right now, could be any better or stronger. Guess what???? You can! You just have move passed the crap, keep going and SMILE!
Namaste,
Diane
