Kicking Butt on Big But

Have you ever created a self-roadblock? You know, it goes something like this...

I would love to be able to do _____________, but I can never find the time, energy, resources, the right contact, the courage, (the whatever it is for you) to make it happen.

Sound familiar?  You are not alone.
So how do you kick that BUT in the BUTT and make it go away?

Think of it this way...
Would if be POSSIBLE for me to ______________and if so, what would that look like.

Just map it out on paper the goal. Then once you have that goal, backtrack and add in all the steps you would need to reach that goal with a timeline included.

Your new statement might be:  It is possible for me to achieve ________ when I take all the steps in planning to make it happen and set myself up for success.


The same is true with yoga poses. I would love to be able to do a HANDSTAND but I can never find the courage to try in class for fear of falling.


Think of it this way...
Would if be POSSIBLE for me to practice a HANSTAND before class and if so, what would that look like. Perhaps try it at home along the wall at your own pace with no outside pressure or ask for assistance in class for physical and mental support. Plan how you can make this happen and you will be one step closer to Kicking BUTT on that BIG BUT.
